Integrated Agency Adds New Senior Leaders Across Global Offices

BOSTONRacepoint Global, an intelligence-driven marketing agency that delivers results for the accountability economy, announced today the addition of four vice presidents in its Boston, San Francisco, London and Hong Kong offices.

Tom Parnell, Vice President, US, Boston

As a vice president in Racepoint’s Boston office, Tom serves as his clients’ day-to-day contact while leading the strategic planning for each company’s priorities across key business segments. His work has spanned both public and private companies in a variety of industries, including IT, networking, data center, B2B, telecommunications, and manufacturing.

Before joining the Racepoint team, Tom was a vice president at Weber Shandwick in Boston. In this role, he worked within the agency’s technology practice group, serving clients such as Tata Communications, PTC, SevOne, Iron Mountain and the state of Utah. Prior to Weber, he was a director at Waggener Edstrom, and served as the client relationship lead for Microsoft’s global research organization, Microsoft Research. He collaborated with various business groups (e.g., Azure, Office, Bing, Xbox, Skype, Windows Phone) and global PR leads to tell all-up company stories through owned and earned channels about how Microsoft is investing in basic and applied research in areas like artificial intelligence, big data/machine learning, and the Internet of Things.

Tom started his professional career as a TV reporter and anchor, working for 8+ years at television stations in Texas, Indiana, Kentucky, and Massachusetts. He received his bachelor’s degree in Communications at the University of Notre Dame and a master’s degree in Broadcast Journalism at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.

Jesica Church, Vice President, US, San Francisco

Jesica is an accomplished marketing and communications professional with over twelve years of expertise, leading work for consumer and consumer technology companies. She has deep expertise in strategic communications, brand strategy, product campaigns and executive communications. Jesica co-led MWW’s San Francisco office and previously held leadership roles at Allison + Partners and New Holland Media.  She has worked with notable technology clients such as Microsoft, Samsung Mobile, Sprint (including Boost and Virgin Mobile), Double Down Interactive, and Dropbox.  She has also handled consumer work with Amway, Merlin Entertainment, Victor and Stem for Life Foundation.

Jenna Keighley, Vice President, London

With over 12 years’ experience as a senior communications consultant, Jenna joins the leadership team in London with responsibility for global integration as well as managing and developing Racepoint Global’s technology practice in London.

Prior to joining Racepoint, Jenna worked as a board director at Nelson Bostock Group Unlimited, where she led major B2B and B2C technology brands including HTC, Canon and Telstra International to develop integrated communications campaigns that speak to both business and consumer audiences, translating ‘speeds and feeds’ into benefit-led messages that drive engagement and build brand value.

Jenna has also worked with component-level technology brands including Intel, CSR and Renesas Technology Europe as well as software and services, with B2B campaigns for Avaya, Fair Isaac (now FICO) and Tata Consultancy Services.

Mark Lee, Vice President, Asia, Hong Kong

With over 12 years’ of technology and communications experience, Mark joins the senior leadership team in Hong Kong and will be a strategic lead in managing and developing Racepoint Global’s technology practice. Lee, previously an Associate Director at Edelman, joined the team as a Vice President in February 2016. Mark leverages his knowledge of top-tier media and deep technology industry insights having advised top global brands including Tencent, Tesla, Huawei, ZTE, Symantec, Visa and Juniper Networks on media and integrated communication strategies, helping clients build their brands and generate positive communication outcomes.

Previously a Technology Correspondent at Bloomberg News, he covered companies in China and Hong Kong and generated market-moving coverage that led the global news agenda. He was also a frequent commentator on Bloomberg Television, and a contributor to the Bloomberg Markets and Bloomberg Businessweek magazines. Prior to Bloomberg, Mark was a business reporter at The Standard newspaper in Hong Kong, and worked as a semiconductor engineer at Fujitsu, Toshiba and Seiko Epson. He holds a Masters of Journalism degree from the University of Hong Kong, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Bath, England.
