BOSTON, January 15, 2014 – Racepoint Group today announced that it has rebranded as Racepoint Global. At the same time, the company announced the creation of several new positions to reflect its expanded service offer and global footprint. The rebrand completes the integration of Racepoint Group – a leading global PR agency with digital at its roots – and its sister company, Digital Influence Group – one of the industry’s earliest and best known digital marketing agencies – into a global powerhouse featuring marketing services and digital PR under one roof.
“Our decision to merge these two leading companies into one reflects our view of the rapidly changing client need, “commented Racepoint Global founder and chairman, Larry Weber. “As we have worked closely with leading global brands and emerging companies, governments and policy makers, we have seen an evolving need for fully integrated digital communications services. We had two phenomenal service offers that easily filled this evolving need and elected to house them under a single, accessible brand.”
Racepoint Global has spent the past six months integrating its expanded offer across all of its offices in Boston, San Francisco, Washington DC, London, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing.
To support the expansion of services and evolving customer needs, the agency has added several key positions. Karen Bouchard, has been named Chief Human Resources Officer. In this expanded role, Karen Bouchard is tasked with identifying talent and ensuring training and administrative operational excellence around the globe. Concurrent with Bouchard’s appointment is the promotion of Kelly Houston to Vice President of HR. Houston’s expertise in digital recruitment is instrumental to talent identification in each market.

In this role, Anne will establish and implement standards and guidelines for service to ensure consistent excellence around the globe. She will develop new products that ensure Racepoint’s continued leadership, operationalizing these products and devising strategies and rollouts into each geography. Kevin Green immediately assumes the newly created role of Executive Vice President, Global Digital Strategy & Partnerships. Kevin will work closely with regional MDs and their senior staffs in identifying and implementing digital strategies and campaign programming into existing accounts and new business. He is also responsible for identifying and evaluating strategic partners, executing agreements and operationalizing these relationships into marketable services for global rollout.
Ani Jigarjian is assuming the newly created position of Vice President, Global Marketing and Business Development. Ani will oversee agency marketing strategy and new business globally. She will work closely with regional resources to implement marketing and business development programs designed to amplify the Racepoint Global brand and attract prospective clients. The department will be filling out the rest of the global team with staff appointments which will be announced in early 2014.
