Manager, Media – Boston

Our Media Managers assist with the creation, management and execution of innovative online media strategies across emerging and traditional digital media channels.  Our Managers serve as direct resources for clients and collaborate with our senior leadership to provide counsel on the most effective ways to reach target audiences. They partner with team members across capabilities to deliver complete online experiences, promoting Racepoint clients’ brands to key constituencies.   Our managers report directly to our VP, Media.


Assists with the creation, management and execution of innovative online media strategies across emerging and digital media channels

Serves as direct resource for clients in the management and execution of digital media programs

Collaborates with senior leadership to provide counsel for clients on ways to reach target audiences via emerging social and traditional digital media channels

Partners with team members across capabilities to create and execute innovative digital media programs, promoting Racepoint’s clients’ brands to key constituencies

Manages communications among internal project team members and stakeholders, ensuring assignments are clear and deadlines met at highest level of quality

Leads third party media and blogger relationships; engages with key target groups, developing ways to leverage and nurture online communities

Leads development of measurement reports and other resources to aid in campaign development

Conducts research for strategies using syndicated tools (e.g. Nielsen @Plan and Sysomos)

Drives creation of weekly and monthly client status reports

Oversees vendor billing and payment process



Bachelor’s degree and 4-6 years experience in digital media program creation and execution (preferably in a marketing/ad agency/media agency environment)

Excellent communication skills – both written and oral; strong client-facing skills

Must be an consumer of social media; well versed in navigating the social media landscape

Proven ability to manage and build relationships with 3rd party media vendors

Strong understanding of digital media measurement tools (e.g. @plan, Sysomos, DFA, etc.)

Experience working on cross-capability teams

Management of junior media talent in the day-to-day execution of programs

Strong time-management skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle several projects at once
